Resolution for slow network issues of a large PST file
As PST size store keeps increasing, degradation in performance starts reflecting more noticeably either it for email delivery, delay in synchronization or anything else. Moreover, PST files stored on network share can bring down the speed of that entire network. Besides, it is never worth storing large PST on network drive. So, any such file on network should preferably be moved to local computer and then split PST to avoid issues further on.
If an outlook user stores PST file for network share, and the file with time becomes oversized and needs maintenance. A time will come when it will arise performance issues for network access, and this problem will be faced by all other users working in the network.
Not only can this but several such problems take place meanwhile. A must to be kept in mind by all users is that outlook PST files are not suitable for network sharing. As it not only adversely affects outlook performing capability but chances for the file to get corrupted is relatively high.

- Moving files from network share and storing onto local computer
- Finding its size and accordingly reducing it-
1. By deleting emails and other PST data not actually required, followed by compacting
2. Archiving PST i.e. moving email and other items from to a new PST file
3. Breaking large sized PST into several smaller parts
