'The operation failed due to a registry or installation problem outlook': How to fix it

In the editor, search for the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem Then right click the Profiles key and go to Permissions so as to change the permissions as per your requirement. You can add 'Everyone' to your account into the set with Full Control. But if it does not help you then try to delete the profile key and restart Outlook application.
