Outlook does not close on exit properly: What to do

While working on Outlook 2007 in order to manage your personal important information including mails, contacts,appointments, tasks, notes etc, you might face certain unexpected situations when outlook does not close on exit. 1. In case problem is due to Outlook add-ins, then you must disable them by going through the below steps: Go to Tools-> Trust Center-> Add-ins-> in Manage click on add-in type and press Go

3. If the programs are responsible for outlook will not shutdown problems, then you need to disable the integration in the program. Some programs that make Outlook remain open are: Windows 7 sidebar gadgets, Skype, Anti-Spam filters, antivirus programs like AVG, Norton, Kaspersky etc or sync based softwares.

Apart from this, if you want to uninstall those problematic add-ins or applications then to do this, go to Control Panel-> Add/Remove programs and select the application or add-in to remove.
